Due to inclement weather, occasionally school must be canceled for the safety of our students and staff. We will be following the Prescott Unified School District for snow days and delayed starts (http://www.prescott.k12.az.us/snow_day_info.htm).
School will either be canceled altogether, or we will be on a snow delay. A 2-hour delay means that classes start at 10:30 with the day running on a shortened schedule. A snow day cancellation will cancel school for the day.
Parents may need to use their personal discretion if they live in outlying areas. Please contact the school if your child will not be attending due to poor road conditions in your area. Also, Van drivers are ultimately responsible for determining if driving conditions are safe. On questionable days, when the schools have decided to stay open, please contact your van driver.
Parents can log onto the PUSD website (http://www.prescott.k12.az.us/snow_day_info.htm) after 6:00am. Also, the school’s answering machine and website should be updated around 6:30am. |
